(1900-1950)
I would
like to dedicate this site to the memory of my Mum, Dad,
sister June and all members of the Bodfish and Skelsey
families.
My name
is Elizabeth Hitchcox, my fathers surname was Skelsey and
they were a well known Cubbington family. My mothers surname was Bodfish
and they lived in Court Street, in old town
Leamington. Grandad Bodfish who is
pictured to the left, was the towns gas lighter. The
picture on the right is his wife and children in Court
Street taken from an old
postcard.
I have been
collecting Leamington and area postcards for over forty
years and I thought it was about time I shared my
collection with the world. If anyone would like to
contact me about Leamington
postcards or you may have some
nice
cards for
sale,
Most of the
cards you will see on my site are from various area`s of
Leamington, such as Old Town, Jephson Gardens. Victoria
Park, Radford Semele, Whitnash, Bishops Tachbrook,
Lillington, Cubbington, Warwick, Leek Wooton, Kenilworth,
Ufton, Harbury, Southam, Long Itchington, Bishops
Itchington and
Napton.
